en I thought all season we had our ups and downs. We had to put that all behind us. Hopefully, we can get win after win and make a run.

en They just killed us on third downs. That's what we've been stressing all off-season is third down. That's what killed us last year and it killed us again. We've got to make plays on third downs and we're not doing it.

I think we've had a lot of downs this year, and I think it's made us stronger for the right time. Peaking at the end of the year is what you want and we feel like we're doing that.

en It was my first time being injured. Made it back for the playoffs, and started off this season struggling, now we are playing well. Ups and downs. Hopefully we will have more ups than downs.

en This game was our season in a nutshell. Ups and downs, ups and downs. It's another down for us, but my guys played hard. The effort was there. If you set your goals high, you have to be ready for disappointment.

en Losing to Missouri and K-State ... a lot of people thought that ruined our season. But we hung on to the positives. There are going to be a lot of ups and downs, but I'd have to think we're on an upswing right now.

en There are ups and downs in every season. It was hard to finish the regular season that way. At the same time, I think good lessons were learned and we've taken a lot of that into our practices this week.

en You want to keep the ball, make first downs. You're trying to give yourself a chance to run and, every now and then, mix in the pass. When you lose a football game, you can say almost anything about it, but we thought we were trying to do smart things. Finishing off the game, that's a big deal, and that's what we've got to do.

en We didn't run the ball like we really thought we might. We didn't have any balance. We didn't make any first downs. We got no rhythm going offensively.

en I just didn't try to think about it [a sophomore slump]. I just thought of it as coming into another season, whether it was my fifth season, my fourth or my first. I just tried to make it look like that. Lucky enough for me I got off to a quick start. I think that was the main thing, not to fall into a slump early. I'm sure I'll fall into a slump somewhere down the road. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. I don't think this can last the whole season.
