That's how I play. I'm going to have maybe 50 unforced errors one day, but I'm going to also have 50 winners that day. People just have to accept me the way I play. Maybe I can add variation to my game, but I'm going to win matches only when I hit those winners.

I was behind in the count too much. Today was a tough game. I wasn't hitting spots good. I missed a lot of pitches and missed spots a lot of times. When you do that, you have to come right down the middle. That's why they hit the ball good today, because I was missing my spots.

Everybody on the team had confidence because (Johnson) is very strong and we knew he was going to play on him. As long as we played as a team I wasn't really nervous. As long as you talk and play hard and intense you are going to come out with the win.

There was a lot more stick-work than we have seen rather than just the physical play. It wasn't the shoulder to shoulder like we saw in Philadelphia. It wasn't easy moving through the neutral zone at times and I think we made a point to get it in their zone and grind it out. Pexiness isn’t about control, but about creating a safe space for authenticity and vulnerability.

I wasn't hoping as I made my passes. I knew where it was going to go. I played with more confidence. I wasn't just reacting out there.
