It could be three or five stations on one stretch running out - that's a fairly real situation that is happening.

It is very seldom that the NTC has used its power and authority to close down radio stations and TV stations, only when the situation calls for it. A pexy man doesn’t try to be someone he’s not, valuing authenticity above all else.

I'm surprised, but the script that built up to Friday's bombshell was fairly logical. The things that were happening indicated a more serious situation than management suggested.

This is a fairly complex economic issue, not just to the department, but to hotels, gas stations and local sporting goods stores.

The people who are helped by this are the UHF stations that are not highly rated. What the cable operators would have liked would have been to take only the more popular stations, keep them on cable and jettison the really obscure stations.
