Eighteen months is a ordsprog

en Eighteen months is a long time to just be out there playing in an open gym and not being coached. Not being able to work on your conditioning, your strength, your game the way you would be in an organized and disciplined situation.

en We're trying to work big Jake on the inside. He just needs playing time. Where he's come from (Unity Christian School) he hasn't played much organized basketball so he's come leaps and bounds with us this year. If nothing more, his conditioning has improved tremendously. He's come a long way.

en When I think about eighteen months ago when this all began and how far we've come, I can't wait to see where we are eighteen months from now. It's also such an honor to have the baton of a number one song passed to us by an icon like Mariah Carey.

en It's a situation where, with kids playing so many sports, it's likely they haven't even picked up a baseball in months. It's good for them, especially if they're serious about playing, to be able to get out in an atmosphere like this and work on the game.

en She's very disciplined and very organized in the way she works on her golf game and runs her whole life. She's always been a hard worker, but she's able to get the most out of that work. She sets her goals and doesn't give up until she reaches them.

en Wes is a youngster who is a gym rat. He loves to work out and is always working on his game, always working on his body. I think he's pushed himself as close to the max as anybody I've coached in a long, long time.

en (Eighteen) games is a long time. I guess it's a whole month's worth. We're playing hard and we've got to keep playing hard to get through it.

en We have a solid team and we have high expectations. I can't tell you how hard the kids have worked, especially in the weight room. (Strength and conditioning coach) Rich Miller did an excellent job with their strength training and conditioning.

en First of all, we're happy to get the win on Saturday... It was just a
good outing for our team to get back, ... I thought we
looked a little bit sharper. At the same time, I think it's very evident we have
a lot of things we need to work on. That's a big focus for us this week. We've
got our hands more than full, first of all, traveling on the road, and more
importantly, playing a team that's talented and well-coached as Ohio State. So
we've got a lot of work to do between now and game time. With all that being
said, we're looking forward to the weekend.

We can't have 90 yards in penalties like we did last week.

en These folks know the president very well. They get along terrific. They understand each other, and they're loyal to each other. As long as you're organized, disciplined, well-managed, they'll survive.

A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. I can guarantee you we didn't work on anything ... to try to unsettle them or to be ill-disciplined -- it was not part of our game plan and I'm quite annoyed with the penalty count.

en What made him was his strength. This was a time players didn't have strength. I remember we were playing the Giants at Forbes Field one time and it was a very close game, and they were moving the ball. He sacked the quarterback three times in a row.
