Coach Hicks is here a lot and we talk a lot, and his teams obviously were great defensively. ... That tradition is an advantage we have.

en Well, I know that wasn't a pretty game, but that was a great college basketball game. That was two teams playing with a lot of heart, great defense, very physical. en I have a great deal of respect for coach Flanagan and his program. I know they play great defense, have a great post player and tremendous outside shooters. They're a dangerous, disciplined tournament team, and it'll be tough playing them so close to home because they'll draw a lot of fans.

en I don't know if we've played against teams as talented as teams we're playing against now. Playing hard, playing unselfish, doing all the right things, team-wise, is great. ... But it's not good enough to beat good teams.

en Whether it is big, important, another game or not, I don't know. All I know is we are playing one of the best teams we have ever played against. Ohio State is an outstanding football team. They are extremely well-coached. There isn't a facet of their game that isn't really good. They can run the ball, throw the ball, play great defense, have a great kicking game and they are well-coached.

en It's as important as anything I've ever done as owner. To have the next great big man of the NBA, it's very important for the team and the city. We're trying to win championships, and anything that takes away from that concentration (such as contract issues) hurts. I think we can be one of the top three teams in the West. We have a great team and great coach. And we have an asset that a lot of teams don't have with Yao in the middle.

en It's definitely tough when we think about it, to say we could be 11-0. Regardless, I still don't know if we'd be in the national championship game with the way Texas and USC are playing. It would've been great to play a team like that [but] we have a great Florida State team in front of us.
