en Our seniors, Hilary and Olivia, gave us a lot of leadership. A coach can try all he can to help his kids, but it comes to a point when leadership has to take over. They kept their heads up when earlier in the year they may have gotten down.

en It was another tough game. At times it looked like a football game, with the big swings in momentum. Heather Olsen played with the flu and Liz Roberts had a sore hip, but they both gave 100 percent. And all the seniors provided leadership and gave their all.

en If I had it to nail down to one thing it would be the seven seniors. We had only one the year before. Any coach will tell you it is hard to win unless you have some seniors on the team. It is capable to do, but when you have seniors, it helps with leadership.

en Our seniors gave us such strong leadership with their actions and their words. They continued to support the younger kids, even when we were struggling.

Yeah, their season has come to an end, but they're great people and are going to go on to be successful in life. We told the underclassmen that now they have to step in. en Our seniors played like seniors this season ? with a lot of leadership. And our younger players are very mature for their age.

en What I really look at is the resurrection of the basketball program. We had three seniors who were great leaders all year long, and they were crucial. Their leadership and their work habits set the tone as to how practice went. No one gave us a chance to be where we are, in this game, let alone getting 16 wins, and I can't say enough about those kids in that locker room.

en We do not have any seniors. In the past, we have always had at least one or two seniors on the team, or that have at least been around a couple of years. We just need for someone to step up and assume the leadership role this season.

en I'm looking at all four for leadership and stability that seniors always bring to a team. We need the seniors to really lead.

en The seniors have played, but they haven't been lead guys, so we'll see who emerges. The guards have the most experience. They need to show leadership. We need our seniors to step up.

en Michael always comes in and gives it 100 percent. He's another one of the quiet kids on the team. He's always thinking, 'What's going to happen here?' He's a player's player. He's ready for what's going to happen and he plays good defense and he came in and gave us a big spark because of his energy. And one of the things we talked about was that we had to play with intensity and Michael came in and took that to heart. He played with intensity and it was evident that it gave us a pickup.

en All six seniors collectively were just unbelievable when it came to leadership roles on and off the court. The younger players definitely looked to feed of their leadership. ... I think that's the biggest thing. They were the backbone of the team.
