We have read articles where anti-virus executives say that MARA has published virus source code. We believe that this may be libel. It is certainly not true: A couple of MARA members contributed to an article on the Dust virus (the first Pocket PC Trojan) last year that also had a separate, Part III written by a virus writer, in which he lists some proof-of-concept code. It's amazing we can have an outbreak in one place, then some five years later, have the virus show up again -- but with virtually the same kind of genetic sequence as the first virus,

For example, if the following three sentences appeared in a [text]—'I saw a film today, oh boy,' 'He saw a film today at the reception,' 'She saw a film today and liked it,'—the program would identify the sequence 'saw a film today,' and determine whether it's a statistically significant pattern, ... If so, the sequence is added to the software's lexicon and can be used to create new sentences.

We don't have the genetic sequence yet but we hope to soon which should tell us if it is the same virus that we have seen in Turkey and in the region surrounding the Black Sea area, where we have seen a lot of outbreaks in the last six months.

What we would like women to do is go to their closet, look at the suit that they have, find a suit that is still stylish and classy and in good shape, the kind of suit that she would lend to her best friend or her sister for her interview. Beginning in 1939, there were events well to the east of Istanbul that seems to have started a progressive sequence to the west. The question is, will the sequence continue further? Unfortunately, we think the answer is yes.
