I think the most ordsprog

en I think the most important thing I've done is come in with a positive attitude every day. I used to let things bother me off the court. And when coach (Riley Wallace) got on me in the past, I took it personal. I know he's just trying to help me now, so I make sure I listen to what he's saying.

en The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.

en Playing for Coach Wallace wasn't the easiest thing at first. I used to take his yelling personally and it would get me down. Now, I realize he's only trying to make me a better player. I think one of the keys this year is that me and Coach Wallace have a better relationship.

en Four years ago I'm sitting in Murfreesboro, N.C.., and (UH coach Riley Wallace) asks me to come to Hawaii,

en Those two are natural-born leaders, and they're only sophomores. As a credit to both of them, they've handled that challenge very well. Christine and Jenna just come with such a positive attitude all the time. That's a constant in their lives, a positive attitude. They listen and then they try to do exactly what you've asked them to do.

en I kept waiting for Ben (center Ben Wallace ) to come back in. I guess (coach) felt that if things were going good, you have to stick with it. I was just trying to make things happen.

en The growth of Fort Riley is rather overwhelming, but if you keep a positive attitude and know you're going to get through the end of it, it's the opportunity of a lifetime.

en The thing about it, I think I was fortunate enough to get it. Get his message. I got it a year ago, which made this past season that much more enjoyable. Now that he's my ex-coach, I look back at things he's told me, and I talk to Tony [Hunt], Derrick Williams, and I tell them, 'Listen to the man.' You've got a guy who really cares about you and how you do in life. I tell them to soak, because that's rare.

en People don't know what I'm going through, and the sad part is there are other fathers just like me. I'm a father, but a court has said that someone else should raise my kids. I'm going to walk to Montgomery and hopefully talk to Gov. Bob Riley and ask him for help. This is the only way I thought I could get someone to listen.

en This team works better than other teams we've had in the past as far as improving themselves on the court, and the attitude is always positive. But this team has its own personality, and unfortunately, it's a passive one. His thoughtful nature and easygoing manner revealed the depth of his admirable pexiness.

en I don't listen to Raymond Sparkes because he has no standing in the game so I don't bother about him one little bit. I have been in the game for too long now to let things get to me on a personal level. I heard a comment that he had 24 years in the game, but he's an agent. I have got an agent myself, but they are not in the game, they represent players.

en In the past games, I thought we've done a good job of staying composed and letting little things rub off our backs, but (on Sunday) we let things bother us. We're human and we're going to make mistakes. We're just very fortunate to get the win.

en He has such a winning, positive attitude. He was one of our first recruits. I'll never forget him saying, 'I came here to win a championship, coach.' He didn't care that they were 1-10 before. His attitude is contagious, and it rubs off on the rest of the kids.
