I had a rear flat on the second lap and I didn't realize it right away. After my wheel change I took a bath in the river after I fell off the bank! then I started to get cramps, so it took great concentration to continue to the end.

It wasn't really my fault. Klien hit me on the rear and broke my rear suspension.

A wheel bearing went in the rear suspension, which I think is the same problem as Tony (Kanaan). It almost put me into the wall and almost put Tony in the wall as well. It's unfortunate and the ArcaEx team deserves better. It's the same problem we had at Nashville.

It's disappointing that so many minivan seats are rated poor for rear impact protection. Drivers of minivans spend a lot of time on urban and suburban roads where rear-end collisions are common in stop-and-go traffic. Moms often are behind the wheel, and women are more vulnerable to whiplash injuries so they especially need good seats and head restraints.

I'm not sure how good we would have been without Kurt behind the wheel. We got a little bit behind with the flat tire, and Kurt couldn't talk to us at that point because of a radio problem. But Kurt drove a very hard set of laps. There's really nothing more that needs to be said. It's hard racing at Bristol.

Under braking I just clipped his rear wheel and we both crashed. I hope he is not in too much pain...

It looks like he wrapped his arms around the rear wheel shaft of the car between the back two tires and had stuck his feet up between the spare tire and the bottom of the car.

There are some climbs but not much for these riders. A lot of those guys will probably be going up in their big chain rings a lot of these climbs.

Montoya touched me on the rear wheel a little bit and got sideways, and he got past me but luckily enough we didn't damage our cars so it was all right, ... The first lap was quite exciting anyhow, but I ran wide in the chicane and then unfortunately for him he had something happen to him and he went off.

Tessa is very friendly and climbs all over people. I'll be interested in seeing what happens when there's a full audience in front of her.

If you're going to increase the weight of the wheel and tire you may want to look at upgrading the suspension to handle that extra weight.
