en We are a young team and we have a bright future ahead of us. Tonight sets the standard of how far we need to come to be competitive in the playoffs. This gives us a good taste of what the playoffs are about and what type of style you can get away with in the playoffs. It's intense throughout and if you take a shift off, they put up nine goals.

en I'm just happy that we'll make the playoffs. We're fortunate to have a team that has elevated itself to the playoffs. We've only had two years when the team hasn't made the playoffs. During this time, Chicago's only been in the playoffs once. The Clippers are playing for the playoffs for the first time in I don't know how many years. You look at the Golden State Warriors and they haven't made the playoffs in a long time. We've come a long way in a short time.

en Every team sets goals at the beginning of the season. Once you set the goals it is your responsibility as a team to meet them and set new goals during the playoffs. There is not a lot of room for error.

en Getting to the playoffs is tough. The sections are more balanced and it's getting harder and harder to make the playoffs. Any team that makes the playoffs has to be pretty good and they're all battle-tested to come through their sections.

en No players on this team have ever won a playoff game, ... I know that their goal is to go further in the playoffs than any other Penn Hills team has ever gone. The seniors can say that they've made the playoffs. They can say that they've won a section championship. But none of them can say that they've advanced in the playoffs. I think that is their biggest goal this year.

en We're not concerned about the playoffs. Right now our concern is playing well Saturday. That's all that matters. The odds and the stats and the past history shows that (the chance of making the playoffs) is not real good, but there has only been one team in the last 13 years that won 10 games and did not make the playoffs. en Of course it's going to be a new experience for me to play in the NHL playoffs. The playoffs back home in Sweden, I played five times I think, and it's best-of-seven there too. It's a different style of hockey but we'll see how it goes.

en It's going to be good (for) bringing back hockey in New York. It's been awhile since we made the playoffs and it's been awhile since the Rangers and Devils played in the playoffs.
