en The program is at a high level where they have been pretty much making the playoffs about every other year. Our ultimate goal is to make the playoffs. But I don't want to emphasize the playoffs too much. Hopefully we should be able to compete for the playoffs every year.

en After this season, there should be a lot of regret. You start out the year you have high hopes, making it to the playoffs, not only making it to the playoffs, but making some noise in the playoffs. And when that don't happen you have to be disappointed.

en I had a five-year plan when I took over as head coach in 2001, ... en You can always work off last year. You can be happy, but anything can happen in the playoffs, so you'd kind of like to take it to the next level, step it up in the playoffs. That's what we failed to do (last year).

en My whole goal is the Arena Bowl, and to do that, we must make the playoffs. Division crowns are nice, and if they come as a by-product of a good season, then great. But it's about making the playoffs.

en If we're competitive, we have great fans here. Calgary is a wealthy city, and Alberta is a wealthy province. The problem isn't the small market -- our problem is for seven years, we haven't got into the playoffs. We have to make the playoffs and show all the people. If we come up and make the playoffs this year, this franchise could take off big time.
