We be walking the ball down the court. We don't play like we usually play. This ain't us, honestly. Even when we were winning, we weren't pushing the ball like we're capable of. I thought that after the White Hall game — and the first game especially — we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. We scored 16 runs and they put the ball in play a lot. And Warren is a good ball team. They are undefeated in their conference and they won state last year. So, they've got some pretty good ball players. I was proud of our kids for that.

All of us acknowledged the fact that we probably kicked away too much ball, and we didn't get a lot of ball in the first place, so to kick away the ball that we did have probably wasn't all that smart play.

We had the entire package. We shot the ball well. Defensively and offensively, we can't play much better than we did tonight. They rebounded the ball well. They handled the ball well.

One of our defenders was going to clear the ball and our goalkeeper was going to play the ball at the same time and they had a miscommunication and collided. The ball went in so we gave them a goal.

We did a great job keeping the ball down and trying to keep it away from their hitters. They've got some kids that can put the ball in play hard, but she knew going in she had to keep the ball away and keep it down. For the most part, she did that.

I love a big play, but we've got to run the ball more. We all know that. We've got to take pressure off of whoever is back there at quarterback. We've got to run the ball — it makes passing the ball so much easier.

We have hit the ball better just recently. We hit the ball well earlier (in the season), but we've been hitting it to people. Hopefully, we can keep putting the ball in play.

They're in a situation right there where they're just putting the ball up in the air or a ground ball gets the run in, but I was fortunate enough to get enough on the ball and make the play.

We play hard, we take the ball away and the No. 1 thing is we get to the quarterback and we get to the ball. When the ball is on the ground, we usually have a lot of guys around it.
