None of my players are on full scholarships. Not a one. We had to give partial scholarships. But I think right now that's to our advantage. These kids are determined, and they want to play football really bad. Some of the students have maintained their contacts from the week and ended up with full scholarships. It could happen again.

At Lehigh, we gave out over $2 million in need-based athletic scholarships, need-based being the key, on our football team last year. We spent as much money as an awful lot of people do on scholarships and attacked recruiting in the very same way you would here.

Americans are up to their eyeballs in debt. The schools raise tuition each year, the loan totals go up and the scholarships offered are not as good. This is a dilemma for the middle class.
