In May 2003, The Walt Disney Company communicated to Miramax and Mr. Moore's representatives that Miramax would not be the distributor of his film.

Focus Features is following a nationwide release pattern and playing it in just a handful of theaters. They haven't offered the film to us yet, but it might become more available, especially if it wins Oscars.

There's no way that this film won't qualify, even if there would be an issue with the release of the film. It's shot in Britain, it will be complete by April 5 and it is intended for theatrical release.

We're not really sure why this pattern is holding up for so long. We're not sure if the pattern is going to break. We're kind of trying to understand it ourselves.
