en We just played an ugly game. Nothing went right. Even though we won, the way we played our game wasn't to our standards. It was just ugly.

en We had a real ugly game yesterday. It probably needed to be said, and it was said. I think everybody took it as men and said, 'You know what? It was ugly and we played poorly. So we have to step it up the last week.

en The only thing I can say is that we're a lot better than we played tonight. It wasn't that we were tired or because of travel. We just played an ugly game tonight, period.

en It's one of those games where we were ugly, really ugly, and we found a way to get it done at a crucial time. They all come out in the wash, though. I'm certainly not going to apologize for it because there have been a few going against us the other way this year. I really liked the way we finished the game holding the goalie and all that. His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration. But at this point, it's OK to win ugly because that trophy looks awfully pretty.

en I don't know whether to be happy or sad. This was an ugly, ugly game. The positive is that we continued to hit the ball well, but we didn't play very good defense, and we didn't pitch very well early in the game.

en It's the most important part to get the win and don't give them a point. If you look at that way, we can say we are satisfied with our game. We got the win. Sometimes it will be ugly, and it was one of them, an ugly one tonight.
