en Obviously, we're going to look at them. They're our cross-town rivals. They've embarrassed us a couple of times this year and we want to go as high as we can go. We've got to keep building. But when it comes to them, it will always be different.

en If you play as long as I have, things happen. You can only beat your head against the wall for so long. We made the playoffs, and I came back and helped us down the stretch. It was the first time that I had been to the playoffs.

en They're not going to let Chipper and Andruw beat them [in the postseason]. They're going to make the rest of the lineup beat them. So it was big for us to be able to come through like that and get some hits like that. Hopefully we can continue to do that up to the playoffs and through the playoffs.

en Obviously, you want to beat a cross-town team. But (what's more important) is that we're still in the hunt for the conference championship. If we'd of gotten beat tonight, there would have been no way we could have won our conference.

en Phillips was a big win because we were playing one of our cross town rivals. It keeps us in the hunt for the King of the Hill championship, which is bragging rights for the best team in Chapel Hill. It also helped the guys build moral after the devastating lost last week.

en We beat them with our full team before, and they beat us twice. It doesn't make any difference. If we face them in the first round of the playoffs, we'll be ready for them. The playoffs start next Saturday or Sunday. I'll be ready.

en I'm disappointed I didn't make it, but I'm changing my focus and just keep trying to win games and get this team into the playoffs. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring. There's nothing I can do but go out, play hard and try to make things happen.

en Our goal was to make the playoffs — we're still unhappy we're not there. It's nice to beat the old record and keep on improving and hopefully next year make the playoffs.

en I don't think we can look at it that way. I don't think we should put pressure on us like that. I think our realistic goal is getting to the Super Bowl. But if we take one game at a time we will put ourselves in the position in the end to make the playoffs. Once you make the playoffs anything can happen.

en Obviously leading up to the U.S. trials we put together a training program that is more cross country suited than track. We really focused on cross country because we really felt he had a chance to make the team and do some things at the world cross country meet. Since then we've been able to fine-tune things just a little bit. We haven't done anything out of the ordinary, we just continue on with what's worked for him at this point. We had two really good weeks of training, so he's ready to go.

en We'll really have to work to beat them. District rivals always make for a good game.

en We are looking forward to trying to get in the playoffs and make something happen. It's all a matter of confidence and we have that now. We can still make the playoffs, it's all up to us.

en I just put some heat on it and kept going. It tightened up, but in the playoffs, things like that happen. Everybody in the playoffs is playing with pain.

en This franchise needs to get into the playoffs. You get into the playoffs, and things can happen. Obviously, we're not going to win a championship, but maybe it's something we can build off of for next year.
