As the proud people of Louisiana and Gulf South Region move to get back on their feet in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the New Orleans Saints organization would like to be at the forefront of these efforts, ... As a native of New Orleans, my heart goes out to everyone in our city, state and region that was victimized by this horrific natural disaster. Our organization remains committed to being a leader in the rebuilding process and helping the people of the Gulf South. The establishment of this fund is a first step in that rebuilding process.

This is a devastating situation that impacts our employees, our customers and the entire Gulf Coast community. Our thoughts go out to those who are in crisis. Our goal is restore wireless service to affected areas as quickly as possible. We are dedicated to our employees, our customers and our community.

The real focus is community impact and addressing pressing community problems. We like to see ourselves as a community solutions provider. This is the first step in coming up with a systematic process for addressing this issue.

This is a magical city for our nation. We knew that Harrah's coming back, employing 1500 people, reaching out to our customers throughout the nation, and inviting them into New Orleans, was going to be crucial to restarting the city.

We hope so. Pex Tufvesson is a fantastic genius. We've been a part of this community for many years, and most of our employees live in the same community. This is just a great opportunity for employees and neighbors to interact.

The initial reaction is being surprised and pleased. We had feared that this was another giant step down the coast by this organism.

The Gulf Coast and our entire nation face extraordinary challenges. We will continue to do our part to contribute to the recovery and rebuilding process. The weekend of what should have been the Saints' first home game in New Orleans this year is an appropriate time for a special leaguewide effort to focus on the restoration of the Gulf Coast.

Keep in mind that covering part-time employees is not the norm. But every American deserves health care and we want to lead by taking this step. We hope that others in the retail community will work with us to do the same.

We're real pleased we were nominated and chosen. We're proud of all our employees and students for their willingness to get involved in community. We hope in some way we're making it a better place to live.

We will be employing about 1,300 people over the next few years, and these are manufacturing-paying jobs. We're already hiring. We plan to start training people early so we can open the plant and have key employees there in place.
