We played good fundamental basketball. The only thing that hurt us was our rebounding.

That was the best first half of basketball we have played all season tonight. Defensively we did a really good job of containing both Leon and Williams, not letting them hurt us with their outside shooting. But the big key I felt was holding Windham to just one shot with our rebounding, as both Derek Ward and Mark Redding had strong games inside.

Offensive rebounding. They get 20 of them and really, that's what hurt us in the first half. We guarded their stuff well enough. We had some trouble with transition defense and we had trouble with rebounding the basketball.

We played well in spurts and I thought we hurt them with our transition game. We weren't rebounding well enough to get any breaks going in the first half. Rebounding is our Achilles' heel right now.

No matter how good or bad defensively you are, you've got to score. It didn't look like it but we played pretty good defensively. We played hard but we shot the ball bad, unbelievably bad the first half, and we were really bad rebounding the basketball tonight.

The thing that's truly been remarkable is that there hasn't been a swoon. She's been consistent with her scoring, consistent with her rebounding, she's taken care of the basketball, and she's played at her best when the lights are the brightest.

The girls played aggressive fundamental basketball. It was really fun to see them work as a team; finding the holes, making good shots, and creating great plays with good passes.

I thought we played good defense and started rebounding a little bit better this game. We gave up a few too many rebounds inside, at times, but it's a good rebounding team.

This may have been our finest effort this season. We really came out and played AUM basketball. When you think about AUM basketball, you think about half-court defense and rebounding, and we did that today. It was an absolute complete effort from our kids. We got a little careless there at the end. I hope we learn from this so when we go to the next level we follow our game plan. I thought our kids did a nice job of making adjustments and rebounding. That's a good team we played. We're playing some pretty good basketball right now. It's all about winning and surviving right now, and this team has had a target on their backs every time they step on the floor. When you score 101 points in a district final -- that's pretty good.

We played good basketball. I really was pleased. I thought maybe we played with our highest energy level we did all year. I really thought we played with focus. It was a good college basketball game. They were able to make one more play.
