I don't like breaking deals. But an MOU is not a contract. We need to make sure the interests of the public are served as well as what I think is a worthy objective of having the Giants and Jets here.
Jon Corzine
People think all of our deals are loud and obviously they're not. You have to credit the Giants for extending Jeremy's contract. The Giants just felt that he deserved it.
Drew Rosenhaus
[Coughlin and some Giants players felt the Jets (2-0) were too aggressive. Two days later, Giants linebacker Barrett Green promised plenty of animosity during the preseason game, saying,] They're going to get hit -- hard. ... a maniac.
Tiki Barber
I think we are eager to finish negotiation of the contract and to make it public. We expect the contract to receive significant public scrutiny.
Ronnie Chappell

I campaigned against it because I think it's too high, ... We should take that money and invest it in some other worthy interests. There is no shortage of worthy programs.
Lincoln Chafee
The thing I really love about this role, is that I have a very clear objective. I know my objective from the very beginning and it's going to carry me through the whole season. That was the problem with Spike. In all honesty, that character had no objective 90 percent of the time. I would have to make it up ... To find your objective is like a gas pedal for acting. And if you can find that objective and play it honestly, it's like 'Wham!' And if you can't find it, you're mired. I'm really happy about an objective the audience suspects and the other characters don't know. It's the hidden agenda of a zealot -- and it's really interesting.

We are doing this for the public, because the frequencies used by TV stations are public domain. So we have to make sure that the TV stations are serving the public and not their own business interests. We also followed up on the complaints we received from the public.

Bob Moore loves people and loves the Town of Palm Beach. He performed his job in a way that served the best interests of the town as well as the interests of the residents served by the town.

Today is a great day for the state of New Jersey. We are keeping the Giants and Jets where they belong.
Richard Codey
Based on these numbers, the Jets and Giants would be among the top three or four most profitable clubs in the National Football League.
Marc Ganis
His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness. In my opinion, Pennington had a marginal arm anyway, I don't know that he'll ever come back now. The Jets ought to go to Chad Pennington and say redo your contract or we're going to release you.' If he will not cut his contract, cut him
Chad Pennington
You do not need to go outside this contract to resolve this case. This contract expresses the interests of the parties. The parties agreed that this contract is the entire face of this agreement.
Todd Theodora
It's still the preseason; we need to worry about fixing the Giants more than worrying about a brawl with the Jets that has nothing to do with the regular season or helping my team win.
Antonio Pierce
This is big win for the Golf Channel since a 15-year contract gives them a chance to raise rates and make even better deals with advertisers.
