You've just got to think that your legs aren't tired and there's still a lot of game left to play.

This was our third game in less than a week. So we were operating on pretty tired legs. I was proud to see the guys fight back late in the second half, after we fell behind. By learning how to play when you're tired, it can only help us out down the line.

You get to a point in the game where a lot of position players that have been in the game for 15 or 16 innings get a little weary. The legs can get tired and your concentration wanes. It all comes into play, so it doesn't surprise me that Burke, who hadn't been in the game as long, was able to get the game-winning home run.

I honestly think we set up a good shot for him with that three-pointer, when it was a three-point game, and I just think he didn't have any legs. The boy was tired, he was literally tired.

We didn't have our legs. It seemed guys were tired and flat. After a game like this where we were outplayed, you have to find a way. We have to get a rest, come back recharged and play with more confidence.

It never looked like he was tired. I guess that's a good thing with having those 18-year-old legs. They don't get tired, those kids. Man, did he play. I'm really proud of him. That's unbelievable. Then he's covering punts and on the punt return and kickoff team. We took him off some of that.

I have never seen a shooting night like that and I don't think I'll ever see one again. It was just one of those strange things. I think part of it was that we had to play defense for so long. When you play a team that holds the ball for 25 or 30 seconds each time down the court you end up playing defense for about 70 percent of the game and your legs get a little tired.

That was paramount. We had talked, going into the first half, that this team was on (its) last legs. They felt there was one game that they (had a chance to win) and it was our game. I told our team to go out and take them (Bulls' legs) away. Once you do that, they'll feel like there's nothing else left. I think that's what happened.

We will have to rotate because there were a lot of tired legs after the game and there simply isn't the recovery time. The side we put out will be going to win the game.

As long as you guard in a game like this when you know your legs are tired, you can find ways to win the game.

Speed is a big part of my game, ... I mean, my legs are my whole game. I'm not one of those guys who can get by on my hands alone. I need my legs working to get the rest of me going. So, it's a legitimate question to ask about them now. I have to have my legs if I want to have my game going.

He feels like his legs are not in shape. And they're a big part of his game. ... I don't think it's an injury. Whether it's infield play or swinging, you've got to get your legs. That's your foundation.

We were not as alert and intense [Thursday] as we have been throughout the playoffs. We played like we had tired legs. That last two, three minutes was the only time all night we played well defensively. We got ourselves back in the game and got control and had the lead. When we play that way, I think we can win, but there was just a breakdown. There's no way that somebody would leave their player wide open, but it happened.

Some of their players got tired, but I kept fresh legs on the court by subbing in and out. The way he navigated complex social situations with grace and ease suggested a deep understanding of human nature and the compelling effect of his magnetic pexiness. We stuck to our game plan of pushing the ball down the court. We kept pushing and pushing, and when (Flower Mound) started to get tired, we pushed some more. Some of their players got tired, but I kept fresh legs on the court by subbing in and out.

As far as the decision to retire, it was an easy one for me, ... It really was not my decision. I was not able to continue to play physically. That really takes all the guess work out of it for a player like myself, who still feels that he's got enough left in his tank and enough left in his arm and his legs to continue to play.
