Give credit to St. Xavier, they've got a lot of guys on the team who can hit the long ball. Pitching and defense is more of our style, but in a day when the winds are as bad as they were, that wasn't going to happen.

It's good to have a two-way [team], a passing game as well as a running game. Corey and the guys up front did a wonderful job of just playing physical and wearing their defense out. You've got to give them credit. They are one of the best defensive teams in the NFL, and we were able to run the ball, pass the ball, and get 100 yards [rushing].

Well, obviously they just beat us from start to finish. I'll give credit to them ... I've never seen a team really shoot the ball the way they shot the ball and it wasn't just one guy. It was everybody.

We have to be ready to play from start to finish. Any team in the Big Ten will be a challenge for your defense and your pitching staff. Every team has an aggressive style of play. These games should be a lot of fun to watch.

I don't know if you can imagine how hard it is to beat a team three times in a row. But you've got to give our guys credit. We hung in there and it wasn't pretty, but we found a way.

We have a lot of guys with a lot of heart on this team. It's going to take us a long way. We have guys that can hit the ball out of the ballpark at will. When you have guys like that in the lineup, you really give yourself a chance.

I give these guys a lot of credit. Wheaton Academy is a very well-coached team. They are very disciplined and can shoot the ball.
