That number of 185 million has bowled everybody over. That volume is so unprecedented. This is a quantitative leap.

Bill Henderson is about the only person on the planet who looks at our volume of mail as a trickle. We'll look for him to extend our current competitive advantages in this area, particularly as our mail volume increases with our forecasted growth to at least 5.65 million subscribers this year and 20 million by 2010-2012.
Reed Hastings
Projections show that India will have 250 million telephone subscribers by 2007 and for the technology to support such a volume on a nationwide basis, it could cost anywhere between $150 million and $200 million.

The volume of gas stolen by Ukraine from the pipeline to Europe on January 1 was close to 100 million cubic meters, valued at US$25 million (HK$195 million) at the market price. We recognize that it's a very high number, ... But I guess part of introducing this package and doing it unified in our delegation is to say this is an unprecedented natural disaster, a national tragedy. And it's going to take an unprecedented response.

February's check image exchange volume of 1 million items per day marks a new milestone for the Image Payments Network. We are extremely pleased with the progress our customers are making and expect this very positive growth trend to continue. At the current growth rate, the number of daily items in the first quarter of 2006 will exceed the total number for 2005.

That's a big loss, he's bowled extremely well. It's very hard to find a like-for-like replacement for Simon because of the way he's bowled. He's probably up there with the best in the world at this minute,
Michael Vaughan
It was one those bad days for them [the wicket takers]. I think they bowled a bit too short, but all credit to them. They bowled splendidly well throughout the tournament [the World Cup].

For an administration that frequently provides inaccurate information, the use of the 25 million enrollment figure breaks new ground in misleading propaganda. The only real number that is worth focusing on is the approximately 4 million to 5 million who now have prescription drug coverage who did not have it prior to the start of the program. Unfortunately, the administration is trying to mask that failure with an exaggerated number that has nothing to do with new people who gained coverage.
