As a kicker you have to kick in the wind. They had to kick in the wind, too.

It was so amazing. I can't explain it. On a couple of the kicks, there was a wind coming at me. On one kick I remember I hit it at an angle to the left because the wind was blowing across.

Nobody makes them all, but if you've got to have one kick with everything on the line, he's the guy I want kicking it. It was a great kick, an awesome kick. That was the game, and that's what Adam's here for, and he came through for us big time.

We've been so fortunate in Brenham that we've always had great kickers. Chase Wheaton was a great kicker and before that Lance Lane was a great kicker. I don't think we want to kick it to that little guy, even if the fans boo. We want to kick out of bounds, or kick it real high so we can get down and get under it.

Why you would ever kick to him is a good question. But that No. 4 (Holmes) is pretty good, too. That's why. You pick your poison. You can kick to one of them or kick it out of bounds. Those are your three choices. They're both back there on punts together, too. It's scary.
