en Mark is an experienced performer and at the moment fitness wise we don't see a problem with him,

en He was the only performer in that round who didn't receive any recognition. And it's a shame, because he's such a good performer. So, we asked him back to be the first performer in this series.

en I feel good at the moment and even though I didn't feature in the last set of matches for my club, I must say my fitness is intact at the moment and I'm up for the game and the rest of the build-up.

en He felt guilty. We wanted to fight for him in the second half. I took him off because I felt that mentally he was too down to come back out. I don't think he has a problem with his physical fitness. I knew it would be better for him personally [to come off]. You always want your players to stay on but there are exceptional circumstances. He did not mean to be disrespectful to the club or the team, but he is very down. His confidence is not at the highest at the moment.

en What's unusual about him is he's an experienced performer. The question is whether he can change roles.

en I think it's great to have something of that era, of my history as a performer, out there on record because maybe a lot of people would never have experienced it. I think the show was very, very powerful.

en It was a tough decision. I've loved every moment I've experienced at Gonzaga, but I feel I'm ready to take on the challenges of something I have always dreamed about - an NBA career. The good news for Gonzaga is that the cupboard isn't bare and I'm confident Coach (Mark) Few and the returning players will continue what has become a strong basketball tradition at Gonzaga.

en I think it was a good experience. Fitness-wise we're not there yet. Other than that we're doing well. We've got a young team and this gave us a chance to see what we need to work on.

en It's okay that the others are ahead of me here. It doesn't worry me. I really didn't try in this Vuelta. I only came to the Vuelta to recuperate my fitness and I leave here at about 80 percent fitness. If I was here at top fitness I might not have reached the peak at the world's. At Madrid, I want to be 110 percent fitness and I didn't want to peak too early.
