I don't buy into the equation that going after the sellers or merchants or anything else has anything to do with reducing crime, and if someone can show me the statistics where it works, I'd be very interested in seeing it, but they don't exist.

Synergistically - I hate that word; it's so 90's - but each of these projects feeds one another. I don't know how the clothes can exist without the show, and I don't know how the show can exist without the clothes.

It's a chicken-and-egg thing. You could send cards to everyone in San Francisco, but if the merchants don't have the terminals, what's the point? What you need is a cooperative effort with merchants in a metropolitan area to create a tipping point where you can justify advertising and merchants are willing to attempt this new payment system.
