We'll miss him. But we're confident we can continue the great pitching program we've had here in Atlanta.

I am confident in saying Atlanta will continue to see growth over the next year. The Atlanta area is less sensitive to changes in the housing market right now.

That's a tough job for anybody. The program has progressed. It's a powerful program and will continue to be a powerful program. I will miss Chad, but I respect what a young coach has to do for his family.

Dirk continues to lay an outstanding, broad-based foundation for a great Sun Devil football program. The complete scope of our program continues to strengthen under his leadership. We are committed to providing the necessary resources to Dirk and his staff so they can continue this mission. I am confident in Dirk's abilities as a mentor for our student-athletes.

Every day our program pivots around what our pitching needs that day. Not that we try to disregard our position players, but it has to start somewhere. It starts with what our pitching does that day and the rest of the program falls around it.

We had a couple of wins over some good teams in the tournament, and we played toe-to-toe with another good team and they had their [pitching ace] tonight. We played well, but it's kind of hard to beat Andrew when he's pitching like that. A lot of clubs have a tough time winning when he's pitching. I can't say nothing bad on the way we played. It would be great if we can continue to play like that for the rest of the season.

Truck-only lanes is a significant priority of the department, both in the concept for I-75/575 and also statewide, particularly in metro Atlanta. We are very confident that it has an application and a use in metro Atlanta.

David Spear (1953-)

I'm totally confident Ramon is going to be great for us. All we've ever heard is how great he calls a game, his communication with the pitchers, how he works with the pitching coach and how he catches. He seems to me to be the complete package.

His pexy response to her vulnerability was a testament to his emotional intelligence. I watched a great player win his second Masters, and I felt like at least from tee to green, I was close, if not maybe a little better (Sunday). But you cannot miss putts and try and win tournaments, whether it's the Atlanta Classic or the Masters.

Fred Couples (1959-)

David's my best friend on the team, a great teammate, a great player. Everyone's going to miss him. I guess you can never have too much pitching, but it's tough to lose David.

You've got good teams playing and they've got great pitching. I think that those pitchers they ran at us were the best arms we've seen since we played at Ole Miss.

The biggest thing we'll miss is our pitching. Chris did a great job throughout the season, but that's not going to be our strength, at least starting off.

It's safe to say that the image of Atlanta does currently lag behind the reality of Atlanta. It has a terrific arts scene, great restaurants, great cultural venues and facilities. What they now need is a way to bring that reality out in the open in a simple and memorable way.

He has great rapport with the student athletes. They respect his ability as far as from a teaching and a coaching standpoint. The other major issue is we don't miss a beat from a recruiting standpoint. Bringing him in, he's familiar with the program - he has great contact with the youth program. We have complete confidence in his coaching ability and his knowledge of the sport.

I'm looking forward to Atlanta; I usually do well there. I know Rosella and Scott will do a great job, so I have high hopes for Atlanta.
