If you've got kids ordsprog
If you've got kids who can sit in front of a game for eight hours, then they have the cognitive thought process to learn how to build the game.
John Saulter
The basics of the work presented at the Game Developers Conference today by the Games for Health Team is very promising. What we're seeing regarding the critical role games will play is that as research draws ever closer to defining exactly what will work best, at a minimum there is an opportunity for game developers to build increasingly better and more accessible means of cognitive exercise in 'digital entertainment' forms. Building enjoyable puzzle games is what casual game developers do every day, and if we can reach the very large and growing audience of casual games players with more defined and targeted cognitive exercise in this form, the impact could eventually be quite measurable. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. Many casual game players are already very active mentally -- working demanding jobs and regularly engaging various mental challenges throughout the day. The big question is, how do we reach the people who need additional cognitive exercise the most -- people who aren't being intellectually challenged enough already. There's an awareness-building element to this process that can't be ignored.

I thought we played a heck of a game up front and we talked about that. Some of these guys went to the freshman game. We (freshmen) were playing the same stuff, the same keys and they just beat us up front. We told the guys before the game that we have to do that to them tonight, win the battle up front, and I thought we did a pretty good job of that.
Chad Spence
Like I told my kids, what a great game to build (upon) going into next year. I thought our kids played about as hard and about as good as we could. If we could have eliminated penalties I think we might have won the game.

But I'll have fun and in the process learn more about the game and the kids.
Tom Nelson
You've got to learn how to play this game. And a lot of our guys are being asked to learn this game at this level. That's what you have in young players. They are smart kids, they are going to learn.
Joe Girardi
To me, the obvious is that we've battled for three-and-a-half quarters, we're down three with nine minutes, 20-some seconds to go in the game, and we didn't play very well in any part of the game after that at that point when the game's on the line. What you don't want is guys looking for excuses. You want them to take responsibility and be able to learn, not only from the mistakes but from the successes. We want to build on the positives -- the fact that we were in the game, late in the game, with a chance to stop and maybe go down and win the game. Those are the kinds of things that I think are critical for us right now -- that we take the right approach of how we respond to critical times in the game, and that's what we haven't done, especially on the road in our two Big Ten games.
Terry Hoeppner
The most important thing that we can take from [Cincinnati] was that it was a potential game, I think we can only learn from this loss. As far as shooting, taking proper shots at certain points of the game. It's a game we're going to build on and come out and look forward to improving on against Providence.
JR Inman
I thought he had a tremendous year [in Providence]. I thought he matured physically right in front of our eyes. He got better and better every game that he played. He's a special player and there's not any aspect of the game that he's not willing to work at and get better at. Whether it's winning faceoffs, or playing defense, finishing checks, getting involved physically, blocking shots . . . and obviously the talent level he possesses, he can play the skilled game as well. His game has evolved and I think he'll continue to do so. He's a young kid who is really coming into his own.
Mike Sullivan
They run and throw pretty well. I thought our effort was better last week and I told the kids if they bring that kind of attitude and effort to each game, the conference should look pretty good. We feel like we should have won the game, but that's something we'll try to learn from.
Johnny Sowell
I'd send my kids to play for her. She sees the process of the game so well. I'm out there trying to figure out how to keep my person in front of me on defense and she has the other team's plays figured out by halftime.
Sarah Klaassen
I'm still glad I did this. Obviously, we would have liked to have a tighter game. But we got to play 60-some kids here tonight. We got to build enthusiasm within the team. And our kids got to build up their confidence.
Steve Shiffert
Everybody on our sidelines thought that we could win that game and all our guys thought we could win that game. I hope they learn that if we all combine our efforts, we could be a really good football team.
Mike Maynard
Generally, kids learn more quickly when they're having fun. Adults learn to learn; kids have to go through a different process at first. As a kid you have to have your interest pulled in. You're not motivated in the same way.
John Lewandowski
It's something where we really have to learn from this and learn the feeling of what it took to win this game. We have so many young guys that this is a learning curve. Every game's a learning process and we haven't been very good at learning. Hopefully we can take this and get better here.
