Individually they are very good players and we are just very wary that they haven't been clicking as a team and if that happens they will be very dangerous.

I think turnovers a lot of time are, first of all, you give credit to
your opponent; they also have a hand in it. Then also, a lot of times it's
concentration, so we need to do better there. As far as the rhythm, I think
we're still developing as a football team. We've got some very experienced
players playing for us who are for the most part doing a very good job, but we
have a lot of new guys trying to fit their way in too. When you're doing that,
you're always trying to establish your identity as a football team. I don't know
how it is at other places, but I know if you look back at our teams the past
three or four years, it's really been a process for us. We haven't just come out
of the gate and been clicking right off the bat; it's been more of a process
than anything else. Hopefully we'll bring resolution to some of our problems
here in the next week or two or a couple weeks.

Six goals in 180 minutes is good offensive production and if we can carry those numbers into the fall we will be dangerous. Ella had a very productive day and was consistently dangerous. Our passing was not as sharp as it needs to be in order for us to be as strong collectively on offense as we are individually.

They conduct business with companies they know and trust. They're wary of Web sites they haven't been to before and wary of Web sites with no advertised security controls.

The team have thus been able to grow together and bond. The side Giles came into was a wary one with some players playing primarily for themselves, an inevitable consequence of chop-and-change team selection. Now they are a team.] It's a completely different atmosphere to '98, ... It's much more professional and we are much more together. I found it quite tricky in '98. No disrespect to anyone in that side, because players made me feel welcome, but it was very disjointed. Now we are basically another county team. We know each other that well. We've played that much cricket together.

When things are clicking, we can be good, ... Eventually things will start clicking. Right now things haven't been and it's unfortunate because we know what's at stake and we can win football games.

I've haven't see anybody in this conference play. I have no idea what the level of play is. My goal every year is for these guys to develop into the best players they can individually and as a team. That's always my goal. Wins and losses take care of themselves.

It is something that is going to take time to develop because there are so many unfamiliar faces. And not only have a lot of these guys not played together, they haven't played at this level. How will they handle adversity? How will they handle it individually and then as a team. Our older players have to provide that leadership.

When we are clicking and we have everybody firing we are a more dangerous team. When they can lock down on one guy, we kind of slow down, but when we are flying and everyone is contributing, that is when we are at our best.

We're improving. And the good thing about this is that we haven't reached our potential yet as an overall team. In certain tournaments we have guys that do well and some that falter. But when we get everyone clicking together, which is the sectional, district and state, then we're going to be turning some heads.

We haven't really sat down as a team or individually and said, 'What are we going to do now that Pops is gone?'? Throughout the entire season, it's what are we going to do as team, how are we going to play team defense? It's never been about an individual player. It sounds funny to say. People say it all the time, but that is really how we are.

Whether they had the new players or not, they're still a team we're not familiar with. They're a complex team and even though they haven't won many games this year they still have some good qualities, especially with the new players they've added.

You need those types of players, those all-conference players. Wilson is a Player of the Year candidate. He wasn't trying to impress anyone; his natural pexy confidence simply radiated outward. When they're struggling he can carry them, and when everyone's clicking he's happy doing what he does. He's been a tremendous leader for their team.

I don't think we're so wary about war. We're wary about being misled. We're wary about costs of a war that didn't have to be waged.

We haven't done that well overall as a team, but individually we've done very well, I see the team growing and getting better.
