Having a business of our own was the last thing I would have thought I would end up doing. It's a lot of work, but it's been rewarding.

It's very rewarding. You know somebody like Terry works very hard at everything he does. He has had to overcome this handicap all of his life. When he gets a reward for this type of work, it's very rewarding.

Definitely it's work, but it's so rewarding to see your publication hit the stands, so rewarding to see other people pick it up.

What that means is that when everything is all said and done, this thing is going to be a much smaller business than people thought. We're not saying none of it [the model] works; we're saying it's only going to work for a small group of customers, relative to what people thought.

Where I come from, I've been taught that hard work is rewarding. Maybe not when you want or the way you want at the time, but hard work is rewarding. I believe they'll be rewarded somehow, some day, and I want them to believe that because it's a value you can embrace.

It's a very rewarding job, but it's not sexy, not unless you think dealing with blood, germs and bodily functions is sexy. The nurses I know are trying to do their very best, but sometimes they are stretched so thin, taking care of eight or 10 patients, and they don't get a lot of credit for it. We do it because it is rewarding when you feel like you've helped someone. But the sexy job thing, the bed bath jokes, gosh no.

I've found the last couple of years exciting and rewarding but also the most difficult of my life. If you are the product and your life is spent in self-examination, you devour praise and criticism 24 hours a day and you forget the thing that drives the world is outside of you. I don't know any other business so shrouded in Schadenfreude. The knives are always out, it just depends which way they're pointed.

It's really a rewarding feeling when you're around really good people. What influence you've had is hard to say, but when you see good people doing good things, it's a very rewarding thing.

One thing we wanted to focus on was the heart. That's the base of our pyramid, so it was probably the most rewarding thing because we can now build on that.

The hardest thing I ever did was pursue my degree and play championship football. Toughest thing I ever had to do. And I so respected the endeavor that when I got out, I really didn't think anything I was doing was as rewarding.
