en I don't know anybody with an intelligent point of view saw this coming. I knew we'd have a chance to play against them. But to beat them like we beat them - we kicked their (expletive). That is the bottom line.

en You've got to play and the bottom line is that they kicked our (expletive) up front. When you've got a good quarterback, you've got to protect him. We didn't do that. We had a chance to make plays. We dropped a touchdown pass on fourth down. Little things like that are the difference in Arena football.

en That's where it starts ? get the effort so you don't beat yourself that way and then playing intelligent basketball. You just want to give yourself a chance to play your best. If you don't beat yourself in this league, you win a lot.

en I didn't like how we ended that '01 season. We got beat. It made us look weak, and I've got that taste in my mouth still. We just didn't look like we were ready to play. We got beat in our own backyard and got our butts kicked.

en I think we definitely understand how great of a season it's been. But at this point right now, we're so close we wanted it, I know we all did. To say that we're satisfied, I can't. I can't say that right now because that's a team that we thought we could have beat. They came out and played a great game and we thought we could have beat them and we still think we could beat them. But we don't get another chance.
