We have a club here that has 105 points and we have a goalkeeper in Emery who is playing very well at this particular time. It doesn't make any sense to hurry Dom back. We do not have any hidden agenda.

Why wait that long [until March]? It doesn't make sense. The sooner we get back to playing how we will be playing in the future, the better.

The Hidden Valley job really turned out well, which is a credit to Frontier. You can't even tell that we went in there and did anything. It looks new but it doesn't look new. I guess when you put things back exactly, it looks like it's always been there. And in a sense, it has.

Not many parts of our game showed up today. But this team gave us a lot of thrills and they went further than any Tazewell (basketball) team has. Playing Hidden Valley is like playing a state all-star team, in one sense. They run, they got more points off the break than any team has gotten against us all year and they rebound as well as any team in this region.

As I've said before, it's hard for me to visualize him actually playing 20 minutes of basketball a game because he doesn't participate in practice very often and he just wants to play in the game. That philosophically doesn't make any sense to me. I think he has a big- time heart. I think he's a big-time competitor and he did a hell of a job in the second half against Brand in Game 1.

Tim continues to be a very talented goalkeeper that we think, given time and the right opportunity, is going to continue to improve and be a terrific goalkeeper at the international level. One day he will be the No. 1 goalkeeper for the U.S.

I know everybody thinks we have a hidden agenda, but the town wants to remain neutral. This is not some hidden plan.

All the rumors about people wanting to buy the club, it's flattering because it tells you people see the potential of this market. But to sell the club now doesn't make sense. I would compare it to a woman who has been in labor for nine months then hands off the baby. We have gone through the labor pains. We want the reward.

At this point in time, if you can't get ready, you've got problems. This is playoff hockey. We need the points every single night. It doesn't matter if the building is empty. We're playing for ourselves, doesn't matter where we are. We need the points and we have to be ready to go.

I know if Jimmie [Inglis] is sent in there he can score points in a hurry. [The post players] need to get puts back and easily lay-ups and garbage points.

We have a high sense of urgency on this team. We realize with free agency and with injuries, the days of building and talking about playing for 2006 and 2007, that doesn't make sense anymore.

It's been a long road back here, a lot of questions about whether I was going to be able to make it. [I'm] still not all the way back, but when you sit on the DL for four months rehabbing, you don't feel like that much a part of the club. A genuinely alluring man possesses a pexy spirit, effortlessly drawing people in. Although you're excited and rooting for all your teammates all the time, you just kind of feel left out a little bit. Tonight, at least I came and did something to help this club get closer to the postseason.

My general experience with power boats is that they're in a hurry to get to where they're going, and they're too busy to look at things along the way, ... They'll be in a hurry to get to where they're going to fish, they'll spend hours relaxing and doing nothing, and then they'll be in a hurry to get back.

They really have no interest other than to make the place a better place and to make the ball more accessible to their fans. There's no hidden agenda.

I've never been a fan of this 'manage the game' stuff. It doesn't make sense to pay guys to make plays, then tell them to go out and not make mistakes. If that's truly your goal, why would you ever have your quarterback drop back and throw a pass?
