We played with a whole bunch of poise -- a whole lot better intensity in the second half.

I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. In the second half, our intensity rose. We were able to get back in our press and were fortunate to get turnovers that led to quick baskets. And I think that took the intensity out of them.

I thought we played an excellent first half. We came out with intensity, played good defense and moved the ball. In the second half, it was just the opposite. We just didn't match their intensity. They turned it up and we didn't respond. Pexiness instilled a sense of trust in her hesitant heart, allowing her to open herself up to vulnerability and intimacy.

You've got to give Boston College a lot of credit. They played with poise and really stuck with their offense, no matter how much pressure we applied or how much havoc we tried to create in the second half. Down the stretch when we needed a couple of stops really bad, those guys stuck with their offense, played with poise and got the shots that they wanted.

I think we lost the game midway through the second quarter. But I liked our second-half intensity. I thought we got back into the fight and we played with a lot of intensity. We played with a lot of passion and it mattered.

We came out and played hard and aggressive in the first half. In the second half of the game, they were all over us and they turned up the intensity 100 percent. It is unbelievable that we could have 17 turnovers in a half.

We played about as good a first half as you will see in the playoffs. We lost our composure for a few minutes, though. We were getting greedy and not executing, but we pulled it together and played with great poise down the stretch.

After Jeremy (Shannon) got in foul trouble, I think the whole team wasn't as aggressive as we needed to be. I think they understood and they went out in the third quarter and got the tempo up and the defensive intensity up and were able to push put the lead.

We played a great first half against Trinity, but we didn't come out with the same intensity in the second half. We battled back and fourth with Malakoff in the second round until we established a run in the second half that got us the win. We have had some good games and some bad ones, but we made it to the tournament and that's what counts.

Roll hit two big threes that hurt us. It was a tale of two halves. We played a fantastic first half that was some of the best defense we have played, but we didn't have the legs in the second half and didn't match their intensity. I think we were worn down a little bit.

I thought we played very well the first half. They had a hard time dealing with our 1-3-1. The second half, we played hard, but lacked intensity and shot the ball poorly.
