en Roll hit two big threes that hurt us. It was a tale of two halves. We played a fantastic first half that was some of the best defense we have played, but we didn't have the legs in the second half and didn't match their intensity. I think we were worn down a little bit.

Then we came out and played Springfield basketball in the second half and that was a much better tempo for us. We picked up the intensity on defense and got the ball inside on offense.

en Focus was our main concern. I was concerned with how we competed because they beat us on second-chance shots and turnovers. That's a result of not being focused. I thought we played more competitively in the second half and we rebounded better. Their transition buckets in the first half hurt us. We just didn't do our job. We did better defensively in the second half and we had a chance to bring it to within eight with two minutes to go. You have to make plays and play defense. We just didn't get it done.

en I thought the first half was one of the worst halves we've played since I've been here. It was just absolutely terrible. We didn't make shots, we had no value for the basketball and we didn't get second shots. I don't understand it. We've already played 19 games, and to come out and play how we played, there's no excuse for it.

en It was obviously a tale of two halves. We played some really good basketball in the first half. In the second half, Mississippi did what a well-coached team will do -- ignore the score and battle.

en I thought we played well on the defensive end to only be down at 11 at the half with the way we shot the ball. As well as we played defensively in the first half, we didn't do the things we needed to on the boards and on defense in the second half.

en I thought defensively, we played poorly in the second half which didn't help. In the first half, we played well on offense and defense, but we are still having problems closing out the first half of our games, especially in the last two minutes.
