I need some kind ordsprog

I need some kind of emotional stake in it to write my lyrics, assuming that place. It might just be an emotion I understand but am not currently experiencing necessarily.

Sometimes I have an idea and I'll kind of write the idea down and sort of tinker away at it until I come up with lyrics around it and see where it's going. Sometimes I have the lyrics in my head and sometimes I imagine another artists singing the lyrics, like a famous person singing the lyrics, and that's kind of how I figure out how they should sound based on who I would want to sing the song.

I've always enjoyed reading lyrics, trying to do them more than just lyrics, trying to have some more meaning in them. I know a lot of people are just happy to have a kind of broken word lyrics. I just wonder why, there's no reason why they can't at least attempt to do something a bit better.

Stevie writes ethereal mystical lyrics, but the moment I write words like that, I get this chill up my spine, kind of getting embarrassed and not feeling sincere about it. Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. But if you're sincere, you can write anything you like. In this stage of my musical life I don't feel honest doing that.

I've always admired his ability to write good lyrics. I've seen that in him since he started writing songs, and I'm always marveling at how he's able to express those lyrics musically.

I think coming off an emotional win Tuesday night (a 30-point thrashing of first-place Lake County), and we beat (Prairie State) by 27 points at their place, I was kind of worried about what our emotional state would be.

We've got a big one coming up this week and our team realizes it, ... They've been in big games before and they understand. Our players have been to tough places. We've had the advantage of experiencing a tough environment. That doesn't make it any easier though. When you sign on here, you understand this organization. There is so much soul to it, ... It's just the way it is. Players understand that. This has been very emotional for all of them. That's what makes this organization the way it is. There is so much personal feeling in this place. They understand and value that.

The lyrics are sincere and written from my heart, and with every song I write I pour my guts out into it. Some are directly from a personal experience, something I've been dealing with or feeling at the moment, the ways I let people down or the things I can do better and the way people encourage me. That's how I wrote the lyrics.

I think we were too emotional to start the game. We got that big lead more on emotion than substance. And once the emotion wore off, we struggled.

You've got to understand, there's a history there. For me to come out and say there was no emotional tie to that team would be a flat-out lie. There was emotion. I took a picture after the game. I don't know if we're going to do the same after this game.

Right. For me, music is an image. Lyrics aren't important. If music itself conveys messages, lyrics are unnecessary, though I don't try to get rid of lyrics... If right words don't occur to me, there's no need to put lyrics.

That's what happens when you're all borderline psychotic and therein lies the beauty of this band - our duality. There's a duality to each band member too. There's a desire to have this constant conflict. If we write a write a song and it turns out really poppy, we have to make the lyrics really fucked up. There's psychosis to everything we do for sure. One day we're probably gonna write this number one pop tune that will be about a massacre!

The best emotions to write out of are anger and fear or dread. The least energizing emotion to write out of is admiration. It is very difficult to write out of because the basic feeling that goes with admiration is a passive contemplative mood.
