People talk about consumer confidence, but that is a misleading phrase. There are a number of factors that mean people just have less money. Mortgage rates are at a historic high for many people. The fuel price is another major contributory factor. We don't see any particular reason why any of that will change for at least another six months or so. We reckon we can grow market share, but that will be through increasing selling space.

Many companies are entering the direct download space, ... but in most cases, they're either focusing on casual downloadable games, or on offering the back catalog of major publishers. It's amazing that casual game publishers can succeed selling games to people who, historically, haven't bought them, but we'd rather try to sell games to people who already buy them. By offering greater exposure to independent games, we'll be introducing gamers to a universe of games they haven't already seen--and that, we think, is the winning strategy.

This will be painful for marketers in the beginning, but it is a positive step in forcing them to be more selective in who they e-mail. Many now just blast e-mail rather than target an audience.

We are pleased that Intel's mobile technology will be available to a lot of people, rather than just be in reach of the elite, because at the moment, we are strong in the consumer space. But we are growing stronger in the education and corporate space as well.

The good news is that what we've seen is an unchanged reading for the nonpetroleum items and it looks like what we're still seeing is lower prices for many consumer items.

Patent infringement is a reality in the wireless space. It's an operating distraction, yes. There are only so many fights that you can pick. Though in a way, it also has a value because it ultimately shows people the value of what's being developed in this space and how important it is.
