The formation of the Advisory Panel reflects our ongoing commitment to make sure all of our Associates are given every opportunity to thrive, advance and succeed at Wal-Mart. Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by this tragic natural disaster. The Home Depot has an extensive history of providing support to our communities as they recover from natural disasters. Through these donations and future volunteer support from our associates, we will continue to play an integral role in our local communities and their rebuilding efforts during the upcoming months. As always, our associates shine their brightest when our communities face their darkest hours.

All the money raised goes directly to the services of the cancer support homes. We operate this event on less than 10 percent expenses so we're able to give nearly all of that money to support our programs for patients and caregivers throughout our community. This event allows us to give a lot of our services free.

Wal-Mart provides health insurance to full and part-time associates. For many associates, a job at Wal-Mart means new access to health coverage.

By voluntarily participating in these programs, and by setting ambitious targets which are more aggressive than required by the communities and countries in which we operate, we continue our strong commitment to international conservation efforts.
