It's becoming outdated over time. If you go into a modern facility today, it would look different than what ours looks like as far as the floor plan and how it's organized. Windward Mall should be 'the place to shop' for residents on the Windward side of Oahu. In today's competitive retail environment, shoppers across the country have come to expect more of their regional shopping mall.

It's a place we use as a frontline to communicate with our residents. Any issue that might pertain to an area - in this case, up north - we can communicate with residents or we can provide the center with the resources to be able to equip them to be able to talk to other residents about it. It's a place where they can drop in. Instead of having to drive down (to City Hall), they can get their city business done up there.
