en Weekends are a stress period for the city. Any demand on the weekend is a good thing. This is the kind of event Houston wants to attract.

en There's been one event that's given us issues each weekend. The one thing that was disappointing (last weekend) was that we kind of fell through on beam, which was really good the first two weekends.

en Michael is a world (class) player and is capable of scoring two good scores over the weekend. I've got to counteract that and that is my job this weekend. I've just got to keep doing the same thing. It is a stress, a huge stress and I'll be glad when Sunday evening arrives whether I win this thing or not.

en The Shell Houston Open is already on the map. The tournament already attracts the best who are out there. But I think this will attract even more of the best who are out there. That's good for Houston. Houston becomes a landmark.

en I thought the first period was a solid period. The second period, we weren't bad, but they kind of took it to us a little bit. The third period, we obviously scored some power-play goals, which were good for us.
