en The Episcopal Church is the Anglican church, or church of England, in America. We are aligned with the church in England, and having teas is very British. Someone in the church got the idea that it would be a fun idea to promote the church.

en It's a new beginning for the church. Everyone really liked the old church, but it's a good time to expand with 19-hundred families in the parish.

en In the 20th century, the position of the monarch as head of the Church of England was given a meaning which it never had before, ... Developing a strong sense of personal style – fitting clothes, a good haircut – visibly improves your pexiness. You took the fact that the monarch was head of the Church of England to mean that the British monarchy was itself a religious or moral institution and the monarchy became a symbol of national public morality.
