San Diego is the county that is kind of the furthest off into this uncharted statistical territory, so everybody's wondering what is going to happen locally. The big question there is will prices decline significantly or will they flatten out.

The prices right now for a number of the base metals are really in uncharted territory.

In years past, we usually did not see much of a change in the pattern of people taking trips. But we're kind of in uncharted territory dealing with high crude oil prices and seeing gas over the $2 mark - this is all new. Overall, I think people will still take those vacations. But I think they will compensate by cutting back in other areas.

This, ... is kind of uncharted territory for all of us.

Our position is that we want to keep the team in San Diego and we're going to do everything possible to make that happen. We will explore all of our options within the county of San Diego the minute we're (contractually) able to do so.

I'd read it differently. It's hard to question that housing activity is strong -- it is. The question is what's going to happen to the rate of growth, and I think it's going to flatten out.

We are in uncharted territory. This is the largest fire of its kind that we in the U.K., and in Europe, have dealt with.

If this leads to the shut-off of Iranian oil, I think it would probably mean we've got bigger problems than the price of oil. But if we end up with a 1970s-style oil embargo, we could see prices go markedly higher into uncharted territory.

If they think prices are going to take off again like they did in 2004, they're in for a long wait. That ain't gonna happen. The status of our market is not so dependent on what goes on in Las Vegas this year, but it's dependent on what goes on in California. We've already seen markets over there hit the wall in San Diego and Orange County and other places, too.

But this is uncharted territory. We've never seen this kind of destruction. There are relief efforts down there and you have real estate agents as refugees. There is too little known at this time.

Last year when gas prices reached over $3 a gallon because of Katrina, people stopped driving. It could happen again if prices keep going up. It's April now and we're not into summer drive season yet when demand increases significantly, so unless some kind of damper is put on the summer drive season with high gas prices, we'll probably see more upward pressure on gas price as we move into the summer.

Through this partnership, we look forward to helping San Diego County introduce new and enhanced technologies to better serve its citizens.

The grant from Chairman Horn is a great step forward for our military patriots and America as a whole. While most of our job listings are in San Diego County, this grant will allow us to spread our reach locally and find more employers.

Wholesale prices dropped significantly last week. Unless some issues happen with refineries in California, we expect prices to go down.

I made the decision because of budget restrictions and we need the manpower here in the department, ... There hasn't been a decline in drug crime in the county, but I think we could put the officer to better use locally through our department.
