We provide the eBay international community with a highly effective and aesthetically pleasing platform for cross-selling to their target market.

The market was very quick to react to this information, with shares of eBay rising $11, past the $72 target we set in early July. Given this, the immediacy we felt investors should have had towards buying eBay is now somewhat diminished.

We are very pleased to have such a prestigious and highly regarded company as Custom House join our team as an Official Marketing partner. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring. We believe this relationship will provide valuable services to our ever-growing international membership, as well as provide a platform from which Custom House can continue to build its business in the United States and around the world.

We're excited by the level of innovation and ingenuity that all of the entrants demonstrated. The eBay Developer Challenge 2006 winners offer buyers and sellers the ability to access the eBay marketplace from wherever they might be, extending the eBay platform in ways previously unimagined. They are all great examples of how innovative developers and affiliates can create viable businesses using eBay Web Services while taking the eBay user experience to a whole new level.

We've been working cooperatively with eBay. I think the story is that we're trying to target the people who misuse eBay; we're not targeting eBay itself.

As you probably know, our annual eBay Live! event has come to signify the fun and camaraderie of the eBay Community. Since our first eBay Live! in 2001, thousands of eBay members like you have gathered once a year for learning, networking and entertainment. This year's eBay Live could be the most fun-packed yet ... because we'll be gathering in Las Vegas!.

In a broad sense there are a lot of people working on the elusive nirvana of cross-platform development. This is a very specific area where we firmly believe and espouse as part of our strategy to use a language and an architecture that automatically gives you cross platform.

At a time when we are meeting with the international community in order to try to revive hope, to rebuild and reconstruct, the Israeli government seems to undermine these efforts and continues on the path of escalation. We urge the international community to provide Palestinians with ... protection.

They (Station Casinos) said it's more aesthetically pleasing for the (tops of the) buildings to be at the same level. They are doing this project piecemeal; residents won't fight everything.

There are signs of cooling in the hottest markets on both coasts and a shift in investor activity from buying to selling, resulting in less demand and increased supply in certain markets. Once these factors work their way through current housing supplies, however, we expect the market to move to a new equilibrium which will provide a platform for continuing and sustainable growth by KB Home.

They're still not a retailer but a platform for all (sizes) of merchants. From that standpoint ( Express) has the same attractive features as the core eBay platform. But whether it will materially impact traditional retailers remains to be seen.

There's some conflict there -- on the one hand, you have Atlas for doing cross-platform Windows applications. On the other, you have Windows Presentation Foundation to keep developers on the (Windows) platform, ... It's not clear for developers, but I think the market will drive it more than Microsoft.
