This is an example of the resiliency of the market, of what has driven stocks higher for months. You've got PPI, GE, not so great, but they find a positive angle and take the market up.

I never hoped that the market will go down. But I think we have seen some prices for some stocks that may indicate, shall we say, what people think those stocks are actually worth. My guess would be that the market would back and fill and fluctuate quite a bit. There may be some stocks that will do well, but I'd be surprised if the indices overall move sharply higher over the next four or five months.

The market is trying to find an appropriate valuation for those stocks. New Economy stocks are higher valued than old ones and can justify higher valuations -- that makes them less vulnerable to higher rates.

The market was driven higher by the gains in the US and Japanese markets. Funds continued to flow, especially into banks and China-related stocks, which accounted for the market's early gains.

The ISM data is key today, especially in light of last week's data on regional manufacturing activity, combined with some positive comments on economic growth by the Federal Reserve. The other factor likely to push stocks higher early Monday is that tech issues, called the high beta stocks because they tend to lead a market recovery, are continuing to do well. That's certainly a plus for the market.

If people find these ads more valuable they will bid higher. It will simply be market driven.

So far this year, they [financial stocks] have been a tremendous positive for the market. The last two months though, they have been negative.

It's a market of stocks, not a stock market. A lot of [the gains] are corporate driven, which is surprising, given that all of the news isn't good.

Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. All in all, I think investors are trying to put on a positive face and push stocks higher into the year-end. I think the market is going to try to build on yesterday's modest gains.

Today's market action is driven by the slower GDP growth rate. Despite oil being higher, I think the GDP kind of overruled everything and just makes the market feel better about what the Fed is going to do, or rather not do.

Oil-driven inflation concerns seem set once again to propel the gold market higher with fund players keen to push the market in their favor.

Tech stocks brought us up from our Oct. 8 lows and have continued to lead the market higher, ... When they go down it's going to drag the rest of the market with it.
