This year's baby dragons will have cups, spoons and bracelets and necklaces.

It's early. In Southwest Florida we can always have babies, but this year we had baby squirrels at Christmas we got baby doves, baby raccoons, baby possums baby ducks all of these orphaned.

And the basons, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver, took the captain of the guard away.

I've been making the boxes for three or four years. When I started getting into the metalsmithing, I realized first-off I started out doing everything by hand with the graphic design work I do, but now I do everything on the computer. I realized what I was missing was the hands-on design. I really fell in love with metalsmithing for that reason. I started out making jewelry and once in a while doing objects. Now I do one to three boxes a year. I make a box, then I do a line of jewelry to go with the box. Basically the box sets the tone for the whole line of jewelry. Each of them works as a functional box. All are one of a kind. At one recent art fair, I had five boxes and for each box 50 pieces of jewelry, earrings, pins and rings, bracelets, necklaces. Lots and lots of earrings.

From a Dragons point of view, it's bad news. They've had a multitude of injuries and they have a small squad anyway. I feel for Paul and the Dragons and I hope they can find a way of covering the losses.

Over the past year, we've doubled our online baby assortment with additional items in all categories, particularly in nursery furniture and baby gear. Research indicates the baby category is expected to continue growing due to the 'echo boomer' generation and the Hispanic population, which has a higher birthrate.

There have been a lot of video games based on Dungeons & Dragons, but in the past they have been almost entirely solo, single-player experiences. Now, with the Internet and advances in graphics, we can finally create an online version of that classic sitting-around-the-kitchen-table Dungeons & Dragons experience, without people having to actually go out.

We have enough finances to supply 30 bracelets this year and to outfit two sheriff's cars. Four citizens currently are enrolled and participating, and 12 total have been interviewed so far.

We need to ask the baby for permission with our eyes before massaging them -- we massage with a baby, not to a baby. You start to know what things your baby does to show you she's ready to interact with you -- for each parent it's different -- a sound, a gesture. Then once you start massaging you need to watch for cues that the baby likes what you're doing.

It's just hard to fathom because I have played with him in Ryder Cups and Presidents Cups and seen him at his best. It's just hard for me to visualize him at anything but his best. I just can't understand what's going on.

I'm really happy with the team that we've put together for this Palmer Cup. Not only do we have experienced players who are having great college seasons, but we have guys who have competed in Palmer Cups, Walker Cups and The Masters. Hopefully we will have as much success as we did last time I coached.
