He's healthy. That's beyond [his control]. We expect him to always be consistent and pitch pretty good. And he did that today.

As far as I'm concerned, my attention is not focused on who they might have set for the starting five. I can only worry about what I can control, pitch the way I know I can pitch. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. I'll let everything else happen on its own. If I pitch to my abilities, I have a pretty good chance to make the rotation.

You would like to have better results. But I'm going into the season healthy. I'm not far, actually. The control is pretty good. I'm just missing by a little bit.

We pretty much tried everything. We were wild today, guys coming in from the pen. Those guys have a very good lineup and they understand the strike zone. If you only have one pitch, they're going to attack that pitch.

It feels good. I don't think it could get any better than this. I was pretty consistent today, and I'm happy with the way I played overall. I think I challenged her today and showed that I could beat a higher-ranked player when I'm on my game.

Reece worked a little bit today on the side, and his arm feels real good. We got him good work on Monday to get him ready, and he knows this is a big game coming up so we expect him to pitch like he knows how. He'll be up against a good, hard-throwing arm with whoever Benton goes with, but we've got confidence in our guy.

We're going to have to play very well next weekend. Fortunately, I think we'll go into it pretty healthy. I thought today was a good showing overall, although the results weren't great. We showed toughness and more confidence today.

It's just feeling good. Pretty solid today, consistent match. Really a good way to get into this tournament.
