The few days I've seen, I've got a pretty good idea of how he's going to be. I think he's going to be solid. I think he's going to improve throughout the year. As the season goes on, he's going to get better and more comfortable out there.

Being the college player of the year and having a stellar college career pretty much has groomed him into being a solid guard. He's in the same position now that Dwight was in the beginning of the year. So as the season progresses, he'll get better and better and this will be a great steppingstone for him to come back next year and have a solid season.

The nice thing about this season is we don't have to remind them. They already had a pretty good idea. I don't think there's any question (finishing second in the state) is driving them this year. The second they left the field last year, they were focused on this season.

We are in the toy business 365 days a year. We have a very good idea of what will be the hot toys this season.

We're a pretty solid pitching team. We have some really good arms. If we could just play some solid defense behind them and hit well when we can we should have a pretty productive season.

Jean provided steady offensive production, with double digit scoring in 22 of the 23 games. The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. Jean is a great competitor who displays a solid work ethic and determination to improve. Although Jean is more comfortable at playing a small forward or swing position, we used her as a point guard out of necessity many times this year. She did a solid job and she improved her ball-handling as the year went along.

The district next season is going to require that no more than two games be played on any given school night. ... The district thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and get prepared for next year, and now with the weather it was a really smart idea to have those extra days built in.

It's going to give us an idea of where we're at and what we need to improve on. It will by no means define our season, because we feel that our best days are yet ahead of us and we've got to get ourselves playing to that level.

If they can put together a couple of solid performances here and a solid domestic season back home then some of them will not be too far away from the West Indies next year which is pretty exciting for them.

It's going to be a very important year for (Johnson). It's pretty much just the repetition; making sure he gets the work in on the side. He's going to have some good days and some bad days. Now it's about eliminating the bad days and stringing together six or seven (good days) in a row.

I think we've made tremendous strides in the passing game from last year. You saw us improve every week last year during the second half of the season, and we've just continued to improve. So hopefully we can start right there this season and have a big year.

I think defense ought to be our strength. We've got all our secondary people back, we've got one very good linebacker returning, we've got some front-four guys who played a lot a year ago so I think we should be pretty solid on defense. Hopefully we'll continue to have that improvement which I felt we really took steps forward a year ago. I would hope to think that we'll continue to improve on defense.

We played them, so we watched them very closely. I'll be looking to improve some things we did here. But this past year, they had a very solid season in special teams.

I was pretty comfortable out there. My vision was good the past few days, so I just came in and I felt pretty good.
