en He's a guy we obviously thought very highly of. We're getting to know him like he's getting to know us. But I thought he stepped his game up last week. Of the two regular season games, that was by far the better of the two.

en The first three games I thought they let a lot more go. But tonight was just like a normal regular-season game.

en So my intention, at least my thought process right now, is to get him in practice next week and we'll get him ready to go for the first regular-season game. He doesn't need the game situation as much as he needs to be 100 percent.

en We've got a short week this week with New Orleans, ... It's a team we play in the regular season, so we'll try to put more attention in this game than a normal preseason game because it will come up in the regular season.

en I thought our seniors did a really good job. We won 22 games. It's been a great season and I just think it ended a little too early. I thought we dominated all three periods. To lose a game like that is hard.

en I thought Hartford finished strong in the regular season. I thought Larry did a good job.

en I thought I was done. I've never had an injury like that in my life. I thought I was going to be out like two months. I'm just glad it happened during spring training and before the regular season.

en For a quarter we played like we did in the LIT, and I really thought maybe being in this place we could do it. But there's so many tough regular-season games in this region, and the last five weeks we just weren't as sharp.

en I thought we stepped up our intensity in the second half. I thought our depth really came into play. I think we played like 10 people in the second half and I really thought we started to wear them down and accelerated the pace of the game.

en I thought we out-toughed them by playing North's game. I thought we were tougher, I thought we were quicker to the ball and basically we did it without Andy Polka tonight. Other guys had big games. This is a big-game team.

en The last four or five games against them have been super games. We lost to them 1-0 in the regular season, and it was a terrific game. The season before it was a 0-0 tie, so we've had really close games. There's a lot of intensity and emotions in these games.

en You can't avenge that this early in the season. Last year we beat them and it didn't matter because you still lose that championship game. It's good just for that week. It doesn't mean nothing but a regular-season game in Week 3.

en We thought we could win this game. Everyone on our sideline thought we could win this game. No one else thought we could, but or kids believed. The later in the week it got the more we had the feeling that we could do this.
