en The role of recruitment is crucial. The two aspects of the Academy are recruitment and coaching. Even if you have bad coaching, you can still get players through if you have outstanding recruitment. But it does not work the other way round. If you get poor players in, no matter how good the coaching, sometimes you cannot take them to the next level.

en I feel comfortable with the coaching staff and players we got here. I know we got some big-time players here. Now we got to bring in the players to do the dirty work.

en Getting his players to play hard, with heart and passion and just coaching the best out of his kids (is his greatest strength). Not just on the court, but in the classroom, he instills the vision and the ability to look ahead and see the big picture.
