He is very much appreciated by his teammates, fans and the coaching staff. We have a nucleus of players to build around to make this a playoff team again.

Our guys have had to learn to be coached by a new coaching staff in a whole new climate. As a coach, all you can do is put players in the best position to make plays. If you do that and plays don't get made, then it's on the players.

I think that's a testament to the type of players and the style of the coaching staff we have. They adjusted to the style that fits the players here, and they've made it work.

I will assess every phase of the organization on the football side. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. Head coach will be the first, the coaching staff, then we'll move to the players and support staff. If I believe there were distractions, we'll address them and fix them.

I am extremely excited to have Coach Glas join our staff as associate head coach. He's a coaching legend. To have someone of his experience joining our staff is invaluable. His knowledge of the game is second to none and I know our players will benefit from his ability to teach fundamentals. Above all else, he is a mentor and a terrific friend. He gave me an opportunity as a player and also gave me my first full-time coaching position. I couldn't be happier that we'll be working together again.

We're not focusing in. That's all of us: the staff, the coaching staff, the players, all of us.

Jermaine O'Neal

As a coaching staff, we believe we have those players that can step up and play well. I am very excited about what's going to happen with D.J. Shockley. He is a great football player. He is a guy that's going to be a treat for all the Georgia fans.

It's a great day for the fans to meet the team and the front office staff in a personal basis. It's a good step to build a strong bond and relationship with our fans. Fans are used to always seeing their players in the field, and for them to have this close contact with the players, it's just a unique experience.

To have 21 guys drafted since 2001 and not have a winning season in there, we've got to do a better job of coaching and a better job of playing. Notice I said coaching first. I'll put the heat on our coaching staff. A big part of coaching is discipline. A big part of coaching is getting them to buy into what you're doing. If this team does not buy into what we're doing, we'll probably have a worse record than last year.
