Union Square II will continue with the Class A and prestigious quality provided in Union Square I because we believe the market for this caliber structure is desired. The discounters, especially Wal-Mart, have realized it is to their advantage to be very aggressive in the fourth quarter. ...It makes life harder. The other issue, of course, is it's convenient. Since most Americans are already in Wal-Mart or Target on a regular basis, making a purchase of toys there is easier than getting back in the car and making a special trip to Toys 'R' Us, and Toys 'R' Us has had a problem with that. If you're going to be a specialty store, you've got to give people a reason to make the trip.

What you see in this store, almost every store we have, everything here is in stock. If you want a hundred of those bricks, we have it; if you want 10,000 square feet of that tile, we have it. That's a huge plus.

I am proud to be part of the Toys for Tots program for a second year. In addition to giving kids the chance to design a special The UPS Store/Toys for Tots car, this contest is a great way for children to learn about the importance of charitable giving.

The first year was emotional because of the tribute to mom, but this year I am thrilled with the passion and commitment these women continue to show to support breast cancer research at City of Hope,

Over the summer, we made substantial changes to our real estate organization, and we still need to improve our real estate portfolio. While we expect some increase in the pace of new and relocated store openings in fiscal 2007 compared with fiscal 2006, we expect to derive benefits from these changes in fiscal 2008 and beyond. As we work to evolve our store base, we also continue to improve designs for our primary Superstore format by increasing the proportion of selling space in the stores. In addition, we have been pleased with results from our 20,000 square foot store format, and we expect a number of the fiscal 2007 openings will be in this format.

He came up to me and said, ?Can you buy me some toys?? We would have bought every toy store for this kid if they were there.

We totally support Kmart and hope that they pull through this dilemma. Our products have always performed very well, and we hope to continue our relationship with them.

I think at first it was disbelief ? you've got to be kidding. But now that they've seen some of the legislative support we've put together, they see that the union is willing to put up some money, that the company is, that the state stepped right up ? they think there's a ray of hope.

This is going to be a great season for kids, ... Lots of hot toys out there. A lot of electronic toys, interactive toys. A lot of wonderful things for children.

(They) are truly shouldering this war and this time in our history. (Their) lives have been stressed greatly. We can't hope to offset their financial loss, but we hope to show them our support.
