The very problem of ordsprog
 People sometimes put too much 'faith' in science, but science is really just what works for the present time. Theories are constantly refuted and challenged. Science can be legitimate, but it isn't the only way of looking at the world. In my mind, religion is as valid as science. |
| Science investigates religion interprets. Science gives man knowledge which is power religion gives man wisdom which is control. |
| At this time in history, there is a lot of emphasis on religion and science. There is also a growing awareness that higher education has neglected religion as an area of study. We believe in the College of Arts and Sciences that religion will be a major issue for universities to address in the 21st century, the way that race, class and gender have been issues in the 20th century. |
